About the foundation
What is Savemore Foundation?
Savemore Foundation is a Christian platform established in February 2023. It was put in place to address the issues and challenges that children, elderly people and families are going through. Our vision is saving and securing people's lives, and our mission is saving lives to secure their spiritual, physical, economical and academic wellbeing.
Where does the foundation work?
The foundation works in Malawi, with a particular focus on rural communities — one of our four objectives is to provide humanitarian services to rural communities. If you would like to know whether we are active in a specific area, please contact us and ask.
What programmes do you run?
Four: Evangelism, the Food Scheme Program, School Monitoring Programs, and Awareness Campaigns. Each has its own page on this site setting out what it involves and who it serves.
Do people have to be Christians to receive help from the foundation?
No. Savemore Foundation is a Christian platform and preaching the Gospel of Christ is one of our objectives, but support is never conditional on a person's faith or on how they respond to the Gospel we share.
Supporting us
How can I give to the foundation?
Giving is arranged directly with the Chairperson. Contact us by email at Mlambwadzaprecious@gmail.com or by phone on +265 885 612 361, and we will confirm the current arrangements. This website does not process payments.
Can I donate online through this website?
Not at present. Rather than route giving through a system we cannot yet account for properly, we ask supporters to contact the Chairperson directly so that arrangements are made and confirmed person to person.
Can I give goods instead of money?
Yes. Staple foods, school materials, uniforms and health education materials all go straight into our programmes. Contact us first so that what you are offering matches what is currently needed.
How do I know what my support is used for?
Tell us which programme you want your support to go to and we will direct it there. We report back to supporters and partners directly, and we publish our activity openly in the News & Updates section of this site.
Getting involved
Can I volunteer?
Yes. Distribution days, outreach gatherings, school check-ins, health talks and behind-the-scenes coordination all need people. The Get Involved page lists the roles we are currently looking for and has a form to register your interest.
Can I help if I am not in Malawi?
Yes. Communications, writing, design, administration and coordination can all be done remotely, and prayer and advocacy are genuinely useful wherever you are.
Our church would like to work with you. Where do we start?
The Partner With Us page sets out how partnership works and has a form for organisations. Churches are central to how we plan outreach, so this is a conversation we always want to have.
Requesting help
How do I request assistance for a household in need?
Use the contact form and choose 'Request assistance' as the subject, or phone the numbers listed on our contact page. Please tell us as much as you can about the household and the area it is in.
Will you be able to help everyone who asks?
We would rather answer this honestly: no. The need is always larger than what we are carrying, and we work with community and church leaders to direct support where it is most needed. We will always read what you send us.
Can the foundation support a child's schooling?
Our School Monitoring Programs support learners with school costs and follow their academic progress through the year. Places are limited. Contact us with details of the learner, the school and the household situation.
