Savemore Foundation

Savemore Foundation was established in February 2023 as a Christian platform, put in place to address the issues and challenges that children, elderly people and families are going through. Three years is long enough to have learned something.

Depth beats breadth

The strongest temptation in this work is to reach more people, more thinly. Nearly everything worthwhile we have seen has come from the opposite — returning to the same households, following the same learners, staying long enough to notice what changed.

The four programmes are one programme

Evangelism, food, school monitoring and health awareness were written as four programmes. In practice they are one relationship with a household, carried in four directions. The family we bring food to is the family whose child we are following at school, at the gathering we hold with the local church, in the health talk afterwards.

Where we are pointing next

  • Publishing our work openly, so that supporters and partners can see it
  • Reaching further into rural communities, where humanitarian services are thinnest
  • Strengthening the monitoring side of our education work
  • Building relationships with organisations, churches and individuals who want to walk with us

If you would like to be part of that, the contact and partnership pages on this site are the fastest way to reach us. Our vision has not changed: saving and securing people's lives.
