The foundation's Awareness Campaign programme exists to educate people on how to prevent different kinds of diseases. In practice, that means health talks.
Sessions are held where the community already gathers — after a church service, at a school, at a food distribution — rather than at a venue people would have to travel to. They are delivered in the local language and built around the questions people bring, because a talk nobody understood has changed nothing.
Prevention protects everything else. A household that avoids a serious illness keeps its income and its children in school. Health talks are the cheapest work the foundation does and among the most far-reaching.
